Lorenzo fractured his T6 and T8 vertebra (between the shoulder blades) when he slid off at the 160km/h Turn 7 corner, in morning practice at Assen. The Spaniard suffered the damage as he tumbled roughly through the gravel trap, including a heavy blow to the head.

Don't worry, he's got two years to serve on the Honda.
Cal is currently in 8th, everyone else on a Honda is basically toast.
That front on the Honda will fold like a cheap matchbook three times and Jorge will lose the handle.

I'm not sure if he actually ever found the handle.

Hearing 3-4 weeks in a body cast for JLo.

That will certainly help his overall fitness a ton.
Likely make him extra chirpy too.

Johann can take some comfort in the fact he's no longer having the worst season on the grid.

JLo's blasted straight past him and now has an unassailable lead.

Johann also can count his lucky stars he didn't get that empty seat at HRC.

MM was all up in Dovi’s head in Q2, the pressure is beating him down. Track record changed hands several times, and Rins had the Zuk Flying.

That's a tactical error on MM, why is he following Dovi when he's been 0.5+ sec off the lead through all FP's?

I’m thinking he knows he’s in the drivers seat, so let’s make the beast with two backs with his head. Or, since he’d already made 2-3 amazing saves the bike wasn’t there.  [popcorn]

IMO, the ROI on any Dovi Psych-job attempt is really small.
Granted, he's the closest opponent, but seems a wasted effort on a guy in P11.

Of course, seems he couldn't get close enough to the the top 3 to hit 'em with a rock, so no opportunities there.  ;D

He wasn’t gonna catch those three unless they all wrecked. He’ll catch them at turn 1 tomorrow.

I'm thinking you're right.

After watching Marc try to follow Dovi, for whatever reason, and seeing him pull off another amazing save in turn one...

he just needs to score points.

Dovi will not be second in the championship after tomorrow.

Mav might have figured out the start, but we’ll see. MM was talking yesterday about the troubles with the Honda. Fabio will go away early.

My Boy! Tied it all together today.  [clap] Fabio needs to put horns on that Yamaha.  :o Haven’t seen a clear shot yet, but apparently Rossi took Takaaki out along with himself. (?) MM is pulling away. The Ducs had a battle between themselves for most of the race.

Mav did well to hit back and gap MM after being passed. MM's ability to accept a podium rather than crash for the win is making him so consistent. I hoped Suzuki would do well today.

Three great races today! I thought Alex Marquez was going to start flailing on the guy that took him out. Did anyone else see how swollen Quatararo's right forearm was at the end of the race? :o

The rules must be working because the competition is close in all the classes.

Maybe they sacrificed some stability to make his bike easier to turn due to the post operative weakness. Since the Yamaha is agile as it is, it would explain the tankslappers he endured throughout the race. They go to Go Kart track next race so the arm will get a workout there.

Maybe...Vinales' bike didn't get squirrely until very late in the race.

Simon said it was windy and that was part of it.
But if it's so squirmy that he's gotta roll out of it, that's not good.
That's about 1% away from throwing him off.

I think he'll get on the top step this year.
He's got more laps in #1 position than any of the Yamaha riders.
He's got 3x the pole positions of all the rest of the Yamaha riders *combined* this season.
He's got the same number of poles this year as Mav and Rossi have *including last season too*.
And he's riding a rental!

There’s no good footage, but this is where VR lost the front and took out Takaaki.
