Made it ;D when/where is the ATD bike night? I went to the euro-bike night once but haven't been back because I've been super busy with school and work, luckily I just graduated so I'm hoping to be able to make it out more often. Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: printman on May 09, 2008, 02:31:52 AM Tonight don't know the times though
Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: scienceiscool on May 10, 2008, 09:18:39 AM Helloo people!
I go to Euro bike night on occasion, but ATD is dead to me. Saw a red monster on an overlook at Burnt Mtn last weekend; was it any of you guys? Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: Wonked on May 12, 2008, 10:14:16 AM I'm in Old Fourth Ward (midtown). Red 2007 695. You'll know when you see me in town, as my bike is red, and my suit is gray with high-viz fluorescent green stripes. I'm an eyesore.
Weekends are leathers time... Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: duccarlos on May 30, 2008, 01:06:22 PM I keep hearing that ATD is make the beast with two backsing up left and right. Thankfully there's 3 others that will pick up the slack.
Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: Brett on June 03, 2008, 06:43:30 AM Helloo people! I go to Euro bike night on occasion, but ATD is dead to me. Saw a red monster on an overlook at Burnt Mtn last weekend; was it any of you guys? Why is ATD dead to you? Oh yes, 2006 S2R 800 Red/White here....north side of ATL Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: wbeck257 on June 03, 2008, 07:46:12 AM lol... atd doesn't have the best record in being good to customers.
overchargeing people on services. not doing good work. so on... i won't buy another bike from them. i hate two things in this world, liars and theifs. atd is full of both. if i buy another new ducati, it'll be from npr. it is worth the drive. I don't think twice about going all the way to the Ducshop or NPR, and ATD is 5 minutes away Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: JWG on June 03, 2008, 11:54:57 AM yo, Josh here. Marietta area (north side of atlanta) white 696.
ATD sucks. My salesperson there was excellent, but in general.... [bang]. I ordered and put a down payment on my 696 middle April. I also ordered like $1200 worth of gear at that time. My boots STILL haven't come in.., I canceled the order on my bike because I was told that ATD has presently had their Ducati license suspended. And they couldn't tell me when I could even expect my bike. So, Brett (here on the forum) told me to call Atlanta Motor World and see if they had one in. So i did. And guess what, they had a white (the color I ordered) in stock, unspoken for, and still in the crate. Needless to say, I bought it.... and ended up paying about $1000 less than I would have at ATD. ATD will only see me when I go pick up my boots. Then... never again. Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: Wonked on June 03, 2008, 01:25:49 PM I like the guys alright at ATD. Though, for work to the bike, Ducshop really is the way to go. In fairness, I bought the DP performance exhaust (termis, ECU, airbox) for $950 for my 2007 695. They could not be beaten on price on that one...

This was at the Ducshop where you got the exhaust deal? I really want the termis for my S2R and I play soccer literally around the corner from them. Title: Re: Helloooooooo? @ Brett, sorry about those pictures, [bang] I'll send them to you today. Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: duccarlos on June 04, 2008, 06:59:28 AM I believe he meant he got the deal from ATD. The parts guy is decent, but everything is soooo expensive in there. In their defense, I believe they are going through some change of ownership issues.

Her name is Caroline, however there are others there who I wouldn't recommend, period. Title: Re: Helloooooooo? In their defense, I believe they are going through some change of ownership issues. I don't know if that's the problem, unless they've been changing owners the last two years. Plus i had a buddy that wrecked his triumph. the tires were shot when he was putting it back together so he pulled the wheels off and brought them in. He told the guy at ATD to inspect the rim and if it's good to go ahead and put a tire on it, and if it's bad to call him. He got a call a couple days later saying the tires were on and he was all set. so he went and found one of his wheels with a brand new tire, and a tag on it that said "BAD RIM", and they charged full price for the tire change even though it was already off the bike. not to mention they charged me 70 bucks for a tire change when i bought the tire from them and when i got the bike back the rear brake didn't work. (ducshop charges 30 if you buy their tire and 40 if you bring your own and you can trust it to be done right) Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Bought the pipes at ATD, had the ECU and open airbox done at Ducshop. I thought ATD was fine for buying the bike. But Ducshop guys really love Ducatis and it shows in their work. Title: Re: Helloooooooo? Post by: duccarlos on June 05, 2008, 08:21:07 AM I agree. ATD won't see my business unless they improve. Mark at the Ducshop fixed an electrical issue for me in no time. The guys at NPR, especially Paul, are awesome. Worth the trip every time.
