I believe that the next signing will be MM relatively quick with HRC followed by his brother getting a 2 year extension.
In an interview with David Emmett, Gigi mentioned that he prefers that his riders' contracts be timed so that they need to negotiate with one per year. MM will want his brother to be his teammate for the long term. If I were MM I would make it a stipulation that AM also be a signed for the same duration. Yes, but they would have never gone down the path of signing Fabio without Rossi's approval, which I presume means that this might in fact be Rossi's last season. The other possibility is that we will see the VR46 team jump into MotoGP as a satellite Yamaha team. If I were Rossi this is how I would have played it.
