This. I think it's been well over a decade since I've attended an NHRA event. I cut my teeth as a teen in the early '80s and was a regular until the early 2000s. I'll never forget the first fueler pass I saw, it cannot be described with words adequately. And then there's having one fire up directly behind you in the pits without knowing it was going to happen.... [popcorn] yeah when they test fired after the rebuild, the breeze blew the exhaust into the hospitality area i was in. all the other VIPs scattered but I stood strong.
