Looks good wt:
I saw your post on the cored pipes (TOB). How do you like the sound? Are you noticing any performance drops after coring them?
I don't think there was, not enough to notice. I figured that it would sound better than stock but i didn't expect it to sound as good as it does. I have had several compliments on the bass tone. I would recommend this mod to anybody that doesn't have the money to get pipes.
I still need to paint the sleeves and the headers. The weather in the midwest sucks right now.
Nice, what color is the logo, it looks like silver
Hey, I remember a thread like this from the other place. Must be deja vu. ;)
Anyhow, I was mad then because you beat me what I wanted my monster to become. But oh well, sucks to be me eh? ;) Bike looks great man!
Nice, how about the rims in white? that will look really cool wt: IMHO

Those forks are awesome. What was the process you took to do that?

Thanks. They were hard-anozided by Ducati Omaha. I sent them the forks, and they did the rest.

Pompetta, your bike looks awesome. Nice to see the swingarm in another color besides silver or black. We're your fork bottoms anodized too? Also, what sprocket carrier setup do you have?

Thanks!
Yeah, the bottoms were anodized at the same time as the fork tubes. The carrier is OEM powdercoated black. The sprocket is a Stealth Trimetal (steel teeth and aluminium center). Red sprocket nuts from ProBolt.

It's a bronzish/champagne custom mixed by the previous owner. I believe he said it's got 8 or 9 different colors in it. Could be more, i'd have to ask him again to be sure.
The after pic looks a lot lighter because of the intense sunlight.

Howley, that is one bad motha shut yo mouth! Big bore kit?.....looks like the ohlins w/ reservoir just barely fits, any issues?
Mean!!!
Haha nah mate, no big bore, not even an ohlins shock. You might be seeing the crankcase breather filter which sticks out of the left side of the frame.
Ahh...that would be bad ass if the Ohlins would work there. I forgot the hoop suspension would make that difficult.
Aren't those after market oil lines going into the heads? Thats why I thought you had some work done to the motor.
Clean ride regardless 8)
The oil lines into the heads are stock on the old 900 engines. Part of the reason I love the old engines, the lines look hot. Glad you like the bike man, thanks.
