Melbourne is in Covid lockdown again so haven't been able to ride much. It makes Moto GP all the sweeter during a bitter winter (for here).
A promising start for Ducati. Yamaha look ominous. Remy Gardner will be happy to see KTM's potential.

Youtube saves the day.
Their YouTube channel is monetized, so they get paid when it's viewed on YouTube.
No free lunch I guess.
I must say that rock n roll music enhances the video experience.

I loved the headline on MotoMatters' race recap: "Numbers don't lie, but they don't race either." https://motomatters.com/results/2021/06/06/2021_barcelona_motogp_race_result.html (https://motomatters.com/results/2021/06/06/2021_barcelona_motogp_race_result.html)
The Power of Orange! [clap] Fabio's leathers being open should be an immediate black flag I would think.

Close ups of a failing Alpinestars suit. Sponsored by Dainese.
Industrial sabotage' ;D
Fab all gangster with bare chest and chain. He got 3 seconds for that on top of 3 for cutting the corner and touching the green.

Quite a good and entertaining report.
Zara Daniela seems to have taken on the race-day reporting, with David Emmett doing a lot of the after race analysis; a lot of it behind a paywall. Both are splendid writers & racing journalists.
Six crashes with turn 10 taking a few. The top three and 1/4 ran a hard rear tyre.
Speaking of funny, the headline on this MotoMatters piece is brutal (sorry, Kopf): "2021 Barcelona MotoGP Test Final Times: Maverick Viñales Retains Coveted King Of Testing Title" https://motomatters.com/results/2021/06/07/2021_barcelona_motogp_test_final_times.html (https://motomatters.com/results/2021/06/07/2021_barcelona_motogp_test_final_times.html)
He's got that part figured out for sure. I think he has clowns and midgets juggling knives in his head come race day.
Alpinestar say initial tests showed no suit malfunction. Rider facing camera footage may reveal more to officials.
