Baggy was very unlucky and Jack had to play the tyre the best he could. While tyre conservation is an important skill, it appears that tyre performance is a bit of a lucky dip at this point in the premiere class. I'm amazed how 1/4 does it. He must have a freaky adaptability to tyre degradation.
