Anyone have an idea on how to remove the fuel flange on the top of the tank? I've removed the key lock and removed the 8 small hex screws that hold the piece on. I've tried pulling it up but its not budging.
Thanks

Put the wooden handle of a hammer in the opening. Lay one side against the edge of the bung, and slap the head of the hammer with your palm. Make sure to put either your other hand, or a soft firm pad under the head of the hammer.
To reinstall, grease the o-ring and tap the bung into place. It's a little fiddly to get right, but doable.
Thanks Ducpainter! That worked very well. The flange came out easily. I was afraid I was going to break it if I did something like that.
Thank you!!
When you go to reinstall the bung use a plastic hammer, or a block of wood, between the hammer and the aluminum.
