Title: What have you done to your 767 today? Post by: marker on May 24, 2022, 11:50:44 AM Weather has finally improved, so I've done few things that I was putting off for a while.
Mainly un-dressing (removing the side plastic covers - four in total), relocating the rectifier plus some other small things. Not much just yet - Voltage regulator (used to be under the R/H plastic fly-catch) and its harness. Its in front of the breathing apparatus now... The resulting holes (threaded / grommets) have been covered with rather obnoxiously looking aluminum buttons, etc. Title: Re: What have you done to your 767 today? But we live for the challenge, right? The bag came with the USB charger and bunch of slick cables as well, so I just kept going. I decided to repurpose the 12MM plug that I've had laying around (leftover from the 2005 Multi 1000DS, I think). The upper handlebar clamp seemed to be a "natural" location for it, so I milled small pocket, and drilled / tapped 5MM mounting hole. A bit more cutting / machining / sanding converted a piece of aluminum flatbar into the plug mount. I tapped into the Daytime Light wire, and voila!
