In their used by section they had this lovely, repeat that, lovely 999R for sale. The 999/749 is a controversial motorbike. I think you either love them or you hate them.

The 2006 999S cost $19.900. By the way the 2006 999S with World Superbike Champion Doug Polen on board was faster than the 2007 1098 with Doug Polen on board. . A 999R cost bout $28,000 to $29,000 back om 2007.
