Title: ASV Levers Post by: desmoquattro on July 26, 2008, 05:32:50 PM Just put on the ASV shorty levers (http://www.asvinventions.com/levers_order/) BikerGoddess got me. I first saw these on Desmostro's 848 in Monterey, and instantly knew I wanted a set. Then I saw their booth at Laguna Seca, and almost bought them there, but was concerned that they didn't have my specific model listed so I passed. Then my wonderful girlfriend showed up yesterday at my house with an early birthday present [thumbsup]
Excellent fit & finish, and they look phenomenal on the Monster. They definitely make it nicer to brake, although I tend to use 3 fingers on the S4R's clutch...it's a workout, even with an aftermarket slave ;D The retail price for these levers is steep, but definitely worth it. They're guaranteed against breakage, even if you crash. I'll get some pics posted as soon as I can get my card reader working again. I'll see if I can get it to work tomorrow. They look phenomenal...I like them better than eithe rthe Pazzos or the CRGs. DesmoQuattro- anything goin on at zeitgeist soon? just moved next to Dolores park and am in the hood now ;D Title: Re: ASV Levers Post by: desmoquattro on July 28, 2008, 06:08:37 AM I got them too, right before going to tahoe for the fourth. DesmoQuattro- anything goin on at zeitgeist soon? just moved next to Dolores park and am in the hood now ;D Excellent! We do the last Thursday of the month at Zeitgeist, but I see nobody's posted about it. I may or may not make it, as I'll be returning from a business trip that evening. But I'm usually up for a beer at Ace Cafe, so PM me for my number and ring me sometime. Title: Re: ASV Levers Post by: Joebay on August 07, 2008, 09:37:31 AM ... Although you must always ignition in neutral but it's not that big of a deal. ... Thats different. My ASV shortys allow starting in gear. Perhaps having the tab for the clutch is an option (slightly different model number)?
