The base had a sneak preview of this movie last night. It doesn't actually come out until the 13th, but the stars authorized it's pre-release and actually recorded a little "Thanks to the troops" kinda thing before hand.
The movie was pretty funny. Same basic Ben Stiller stuff, but Jack Black and RDJ did a really good job. Lot's of swearing so it's not exactly for the young ones. There's a couple "commercials" in the beginning that are really funny.
I am not sure I would see it in the theater again, but I will likely buy it when it comes out on DVD...
Im dying to see that movie. RDJ as a black guy? Funny thing is at first glance he could pass for one too! [laugh]
He was freaking hilarious. He is back in his prime and I'm really happy about that...
So in the next ironman, RDJ will play both iron man and war machine?
hahahaha
War machine exists only because he cannot find his inner black self.

Saw the movie yesterday. RDJ..totally forgot at times that he was Ironman..a white guy in real life!! He played that part!! [laugh] [laugh]
Funny how there was no mention of Tom Cruise in the movie? He did a good job too!
Yeha C..those commercials/previews at the beginning were funny as hell!! That first one though..Booty Sweat energy drink was hilarious!! [laugh]
I didn't want to spoil it for people who hadn't seen it yet. That's why I didn't mention that freak. (Although he did an AWESOME job!)

No..I meant that there was no word of him in any previews I had seen on TV! Think it's due to the psycho/d-bag stigma?! ;) There were a couple parts though that were classic. I'll be buying it on DVD!
Oh, yeah, me neither, but once we saw his character, we were like "no, it can't be, is that really him?"

Yeah..there were several [roll] negative comments when he reared his ugly head. But he was actually funny.
Ben Stiller..could have been better but it was his usual schtick. The "black" guys were good!

Great to see Tom Cruise imbrace his true physical condition, and forgo make up. One of his best roles in a very long time! (Probably since his roles as David Shawn or Joel Goodson) [laugh]
Movie was hilarious!
+1 for this movie... Saw it on Saturday and it's definitely worth seeing if you need a good laugh.
I also saw it this weekend and thought it was awesome and very funny. Better than Pineapple Express but not as funny as Step-Brothers.
+1 on Stiller, seems like he plays the same character in every movie. I was also surprised to see that Jack Black had such a small role but everything he did and said was hilarious.

Yeah..Jack black as an addict was a good part! [laugh]
I guess we have to see
Step-Brothers this weekend then?! [thumbsup]
Oh yeah go see it. The plot may not be as good as Tropic Thunder but I laughed throughout the entire movie and a couple of parts made my stomach hurt. If you like slapstick, raunchiness, and swearing this is the movie for you. By far my favorite Will Ferrell movie.
