Title: 24 Hours of Le Mans

Lotta great action this week in practice and qualifying. But the big story that has heads turning everywhere is the “Garage 56” Nascar from Hendrick Motorsports. It's technically not a Cup Car, but a hybrid Camaro sports car. “The Garage 56 entry in the endurance race is a unique case because it is a single-entry class of competition for innovative cars â€" there is no other car in the class.”

They've been flying, and are outrunning all the GTE cars. If it makes it through the 24hrs it's gonna be huge. “Formula One champion Jenson Button, seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Johnson, two-time Le Mans winner Mike Rockenfeller and backup driver/coach Jordan Taylor (a four-time IMSA champion) make up the roster.” The sound of this engine is just brutal. They had the pit stop competition, and they won it using their floor jack.

Early incident that brought out a full course caution. They've gone back green. One of the Ferrari Hypercars is running a live onboard. I'm watching the race on the MotorTrend app.

What a race! 100 years. Ferrari got the overall for the first time in awhile. Corvette Racing got in trouble early and dropped to 15th in class, but battled their asses off and got the win! Garage 56 did an awesome job as well.
