Been meaning to get back to one of these.

Probably not in the cards this year.  Need to find a job first and foremost, so PTO will probably be limited.  My mom is moving out of the old house (they bought it in 1972) and into a new fourplex.  I'll need to help clean out the old place and move.  That is scheduled to happen right around that same time.

I've seen all of the participants in dimby pretty drunk before, except for one of you. Last year, a few of you really got after it and turned it up to 11 [laugh]

It's been a while since I saw one of you drunk before I went to bed and still drunk after I got up in the morning.

I haven't started it this year, it needs maintenance and, ideally, a set of tires. For the first time my tires have aged out vs worn out.

True. The alternative is to go back over the Chickville road, which would be fun squared. I just have to get over my issues with repeating a section of the route (intentionally.) Might be worth it. [Dolph]

NOAA says a chance with no percentage given. This time of year there's always a chance of a shower when it gets into the 80's.

That first one launched farther than any in my DIMBY experience.

The first one was definitely one of the better launches we've have

The daytime launch was more satisfying, yet also less of a thrill.

Over the years, have we gained any institutional knowledge on launching it?

That is, is one side of the can better to put in the fire than the other?  I note the first launch blew from the bottom (the rocket effect) but the second was the opposite with the top firing off and beans everywhere (the cannon effect).

It's all a guess. I aim the can and cross my fingers it's awesome. Both cans this year went bottom first into the fire.

I think we should find an appropriate size stove pipe or something to use as a cannon...

Like, an adult sized polish cannon?

Pretty much. Too bad we don't know anyone who could machine us a cannon barrel..
