Title: Clothes smell of gasoline - Monster s2r 1000 Post by: Pleh on June 19, 2024, 12:22:28 AM Hi everyone.
I recently bought Ducati Monster s2r 1000, it now has a full exhaust system (no cat.). The problem is that my clothes smell bad after the ride, a burned gasoline smell. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? PS. It is not because I removed the catalyzer and stuff, I also have an s2r800 with a full system and there is no smell. In that case we're looking for fuel leaks :o Title: Re: Clothes smell of gasoline - Monster s2r 1000 Post by: Howie on June 19, 2024, 06:30:36 PM Stale gas burns poorly and has a bad smell.

If that is removed check if the throttle body holes got plugged. Also the vent and overflow hoses from the tank. They are usually combined into one hose with a Y fitting for those who removed the canister.
