Gotta say, these are a game changer for me. We can ride all year round, but it gets down to a crisp 0 C on a sunny but very cold day.
My arthritic hands thank me.
I don't like the clutter of extra harnesses and wires all over the place (which you can easilyforget when dismounting).
I purchased an economy local brand to trial a few years ago. They last 3-4 hours on the max heat setting of which there are three.
Batteries are in each cuff and charged by a phone type charger. The premium brands have more battery life I guess.
The heating elements keep you warm with less bulk for more feel and finesse.
No more annoying wire harness.
I bought a set of heated thin liners for shooting. I wear a thin leather glove over to stop the wind. Same set up as yours...batteries in the cuff.
They work great.
The under jacket heated vests are great too. It's similar gear to the hunting and outdoor workers gear.
I've got winter gear that has you sweating in all but the coldest weather.
