Title: Starting a Wrecked Bike
Post by: tekdo on June 26, 2025, 09:19:52 PM
Hey guys, its me again.

I just wanted to know if it was even possible to start an S2R800 without a gauge cluster if the Immobilizer has been disabled. Kinda accepted fate that IAW Reader isnt gonna work out for me and I'm going to jump down the TuneECU route since I cant get any clear answers on if JP Diag will do what I'm trying to do.

I know the ECU gets power and can stream data so I'm not worried about removing the immobilizer anymore, I just want to know if there is a starter interlock built into the cluster and if I need to jump any pins to get this thing to kick over.

For reference I do have second gauge cluster that I can borrow off of my bike for this bike, but it is still programmed for the immobilizer on my bike.

Thanks

Yes, with the gauges unplugged and immo disabled at the ECU level, your bike should turn on.
