Hi all, I am new to the group. I live in county Monaghan, Ireland. I have a monster 1100 evo since 2013 and had a 2006 620 Multistrada before that
My 2011 Monsters 1100 evo won't start up. Nothing comes up on the dash, no lights, no sound. I checked the battery using a multimeter and it's good at 12.9.
I don't know where the main 30A fuse is - can anyone help direct me to where it is located on the bike. I checked all the other fuses in the fuse box and they're good. The main fuse isn't located there
Thanks for any advice

Download a parts catalog (ducati omaha and others) to locate the fuse.
The battery CAN be dead even if it shows high voltage. If possible, have it load tested if you have a work shop near. If you have a car battery you can hook it up to see if a lack of amps is the problem.
Dealers can diagnose the bike to often find faulty parts.
In the meantime, check as many connections as you can.
Tried another key?
Thanks Stopintime (good name)
The battery was tested by a lad I work with and it's good.
The parts catalog doesn't seem to show the fuse location from what I can see
I'm a long way from a dealer and really want to check the main fuse...any ideas?
Ok - the catalog shows the proximity, but a google search + AI on "monster 1100 evo main fuse location?" says it's under the left side cover (assuming it means the tank cover).
Next search result is the Owner's manual. Don't have it? It says where the fuses are. https://www.manualowl.com/am/Ducati/2012-Monster%201100%20EVO/Manual/10325?page=133
You need to work on your google fu [laugh] [laugh] [thumbsup]
Aaand... we usually suggest moving tech threads to tech. You can do that yourself, I think.
