I got a little wood there.
I decided last week that once I get my new house (or buy this one from the future x) i'm getting another drumset. I only played with people a few times, but man it was a blast with headphones on even.
Still got a soft spot in my heart for the Ludwig Rocker.
How could you guys forget animal??

I'm a HUGE Rush fan, a fan of Neil Peart as a player, writer and rider.
However...
Buddy Rich is the man.

^^ One of my least favorite actually.
In HS I was lucky enough to play in a Jazz Band with the brilliant Brooks Wackerman. He's the drummer for Bad Religion now, but he has a VERY strong Jazz background (his father, the amazing Chuck Wackerman was our conductor/teacher) and the guy is absolutely amazing on the drums.
Here he is doing a solo when he was playing with Tenacious D.

Wish I could still play drums with that guy...
