to be alive?
you know how sometimes you are having a shit awful day, nothing seems to go right, you feel like crap, and you just want it to be over so you can try again tomorrow?
have you ever had something happen that totally changes your perspective on that day?
it happened to me about an hr ago. i'm glad i have developed all these little things i'm paranoid about when i ride. guess what saved my ass today. an inch or 2 further right or checking the mirror a second late would have had a very different result.
as it stands, i came out the best of the 3 vehicles involved.

that's 2 in under a year that i have squeaked out of. whatever benevolent force you believe in is watching out for me or i have built up a lot of karma. (i just wish it would work for my bank acct too :p )

i actually want to do a few days riding offroad and camping along the way. i just need to find somewhere with enough dirt and open land to make it possible.

I went to the store on my way to work this morning to get something to drink. I almost bought a grape soda, but then I realized that for 10 cents, I could buy a koolaid packet. When I got here I mixed it with about 100 sugar packets in the coffee room in a big plastic jug and SHAZAM! A lot more grape goodness for about 1/15 the price.

nah, just wishing i was in better shape and that my salaried position worked like normal ones and i could leave when i finished my work. i would have left around 3:30 and gone home to sleep or attempt to work out the stiffness of 5 hrs of softball and kickball.
