i received an email from jeff murray @ urban moto magazine, advising he would like to attend ducati bike night in lafayette on aug 18th, to do an article on the ducati bike night events.

it would be molto bene if we can get A LOT of MOBsters to attend the aug 18th bike night ... so we provide a great event experience for jeff.

As long as somebody posts something on the day of the event, I should be able to remember to come to this one.

What do you think?  Should I bring the dirty, bug-encrusted ST2 or well cared for 888?

I'm actually moving in with my girlfriend in Lafayette this month... finally giving up my place in SF.

Anyway, now that I'll be living two blocks away from Pizza Antica, I'll have to stop by!

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I won't be able to make it tonight.  There is another guy named Scott that should show up with his 888, though, so you might still be able to have a look at a nice one.

My wife missed her flight and will be coming in at 6:55, so the choice between having her mad at me for not picking her up or having all of you mad at me for not showing up wasn't too difficult to make.  I'll try to be at the next Ducati bike night.  :-\

Then I get to ride home on 25 miles of freeway (yuck), then drive a car to the Oakland Airport.  At least I won't be bored this evening.

we had a great turnout ... lots of ducatis and owners in attendance.  lots of photos too (over 120, from steve) ... will be posted soon.

Sooooooooooo, just out of curiosity, did the reporter show up?  Truthfully, I was so busy drooling over all the nice bikes, I didn't even notice.

I was just wondering the same thing  ... or do we get to do the johnc piñata at the next one?   ;D
