...that is horny...
Well... You'll definitely get some attention at a cruise night.
Not particularly enamored. Sorry.
You just like it because of the tricolor roadway it's on. ;D
In all seriousness, I'm not a huge bug fan, but that's a cool looking car, I can dig it.

Looks like a car "The Penguin" from Batman would drive.

Creative but not for me.
Clearly missing a roof rack for your surf boards.

Meh.
I prefer the original lines of the bug, meself.
A *ton* of work into those rides... chopping a VW top and having it look good is a tall order.
Not a fan of whitewalls, myself.
Some cool looks, though. :)
Very cool! You ever hear of the Fiat Topolino? Check this one out... AND it's Eyetalyan! (well, with a US heart!)

if that car were flat black, I'd be all over it like a skebe old man [evil]

dig it!
I would:
--swap the lamps for stacked hid's; 3 per side, slanted to match the bonnet line
--shorten the schnoz (speed bump hazard!)
--match the matte black from the bonnet to panels on the doors and 'trunk' lid
--put some bigger shoes on it.
--look at those bonnet louvers really hard before deciding how many to keep
That's a cage with style and character!
I'd totally drive that bug,
but the roads around here that beak would probably get bonked before too long :P
What the deal with louvering the trunk lid? ???
why not [laugh]

Okay, I can dig that.
I had just assumed they were for a purpose that I was too dumb to figure out. ;D
Fenderless bugs are the shit. 8)
(street rods too....)
I love the old Citroens, but I prefer them unmolested. I want a 2CV truckette so bad I can't stand it.
