Title: food on 16th in B'more
Post by: Statler on August 08, 2008, 10:38:09 AM
G and I are putting some food and drink out at our place on Saturday the 16 a little after 3pm as there are some riders in the area with a group I haven't met yet (non-duc mostly).  G allways has too much food, so feel free to come out and see some new folks.

Could be 3, could be 20...who knows.

pm if you don't know where I am.

I might be settled in enough at my new place to allow myself to sneak out for a few hours!

We'll be caging it.  Who needs a ride from the DC area?

What time are you leaving?  We're trying to figure out if we can make it or not.

G is busy making too much food, there are new batteries in the remote control sailboats, I've been cleaning up the yard and a little inside while making myself cocktails, we have a bubble maker and sidewalk chalk to keep the wee ones entertained, there's propane for the grill, the dog is pouting because she knows something is up, and the weather looks fantastic.

Good to meet people from the forum in person.   Glad you came out, Adam.

Nice of Emily, Stefan, Jen and Hai (sp?) to drive all the way up.

watch this space for sailing day announcements.

Thanks to Jen for giving us a lift!  It was a great gathering and we had a good time.  It was good to meet everyone.  That rum punch was sooooo yummy!

Thanks for having us over, Chris.  Sorry I was glued to the tv, but the Women's Olympic Marathon was kind of surreal to watch immediately following MotoGP and World SBK.  "Why are they stuck in a pack?  Why is no one passing?  Those Chinese women look like they're about to elbow and dodge their way through at any moment now!..."
