Post by: He Man on August 08, 2008, 02:20:11 PM Direct clone of the stock pressure plate. eh. if your going to spend your money on a new plate, spend it on something that has more protection. anything that covers the springs is better than leaving them exposed.

Yes--but from personal experience, The level of protection from a pressure plate is overated and more of a marketing point. They don't do as good a job as a billet clutch cover--and they are a bit heavier. Since it is a rotating part, I'd rather add the weight of a billet cover rather than the pressure plate for protection. -M Title: Re: Any experience with these pressure plates? YES, I bought this pressure plate and it has been installed on my S2R1K. It is NOT a clone of the pressed aluminum stocker by any means. It is not as aggressively styled as some others but I like it. I found no flaws in the workmanship and the fit was perfect. I paired it with the TPO racing spring set and was very satisfied with the results.
