I just saw Aries Spears last night and he did a bit about B-Mac. Very funny and was never willing to compromise his beliefs because they might not be accepted.

WTF!? this genuinely bums me out... I think Bernie Mac was the quintescential father/comedian (in that order) of our time. Oh sure there's Tim Allen and all those redneck guys whom I most closely resemble but I aspire to the wisdoms and approaches to the life/love/laughter of raising a family that Bernie Mac illustrated for us in his series and stand up. The man was an icon and a personal hero for me. I wish his family the absolute best wishes possible from a complete and remote stranger.
