How did they catch him?
:o
I know a few of you are planning a road trip. You may find the following website to be a useful reference:
http://www.mit.edu/~jfc/laws.html (http://www.mit.edu/~jfc/laws.html)
Of particular note are New York :o, Virginia, Hawaii, and North Carolina.
I hope Oregon and Washington are liberal toward motorcycles in their definition of embracing.
>=+30 on a local highway in Vermont is a misdemeanor called "criminal excessive speeding".
But, remember that there is a certain amount of flexibility built into the system and respect usually gets respect.
You see that would never happen in NY b/c the troopers here know the old adage that if you're going over 140, then you must know how to ride. ;) [laugh]

... and this guy got away in a cage ezPass-clocked at 100 mph and quote from article:
"CLARKSTOWN - A driver with a stolen license plate eluded Clarkstown and Orangetown police and raced across the Tappan Zee Bridge at 100 mph last night before disappearing into Westchester.
No one was hurt in the chase, which took about five minutes from start to finish and was called off for safety reasons once the culprit passed through the EZPass tolls heading south."
