VS buys Apple

no worries, i'm so use to big brother.
it doesn't suprise me at all [evil]
yeah, they (i.e., jobs) fessed up to it.
the alternative being a virus scanner that updates.... pretty much same functionality with lots more overhead.
Apple has become what it was trying to smash. Classic 80s commercial anyone?
i guess another scenario would be a malicious app compromising multiple iphones and everybody looking at apple and saying "why the hell can't you stop this?"
it seems they're very aware of the fact that it's a function not to be taken lightly.
this only applies to 3G models, right?

Agreed. Enough of the overreactionary Big Brother chatter. It's a company protecting their interests, not trying to steal your contact list.
