yeah I know I said I wouldn't post up for rides anymore but what would the new NYMMC be w/o them?

Anywho, riding on Sunday. Won't be as long or epic as the usual rides since I have to be home a bit earlier for the doggie (homegirl's outta town). I have a walker lined up but I'd still feel bad about leaving him for so long you see.

Meeting at Gorilla (http://www.gorillacoffee.com) at 9:30am to start the ride. Won't be going north for the 2nd meet at the PIP gas station so if you want to come out, you'll have to meet up at Gorilla. Route? Mileage? Don't know but it'll be fun.

Standard S.O.P. applies -
- You need to legal and be able to prove you're legal to be out on the road; "M" endorsement on your license, current reg and inspection, proof of insurance.
- Full gear isn't required but highly recommended, we ride hard and a lot of the roads I choose are either very technical or not even roads at all. Plus, I don't like rolling with squids, it make me/us look bad IMO. Oh, and a jacket helmet and boots isn't what I'd consider full gear.
- Speed limits will obeyed EVERYWHERE and the group will be staggered unless of course we're on a back road then it will be everyman/woman for themselves. I'll wait at the next turn off. Shout me holla to secure your spot.

Hay man, if you have open role call on one of these rides again I'd love to come out. This weekends out due to family obligations though. Oh, and I'll be getting my leathers in the next week or 2; it's way overdue...

While that option sounds like a good idea too - which it is - I'm more of an either or type of person. Like, either I'm riding (all day 100%), or I'm not. I have around 5k miles on the clock since March (most of it of the twisty variety) and I think a day at the beach, especially a Caribbean beach with clean white sand and blue/green water wouldn't be a bad way to spend a few days off of the bike... it beats staring at dudes dressed in leather gathered around a broken bike in either a hotel or shopping plaza parking lot.  :bang

I'm not saying you ride to the beach & hang out, I'm saying you ride by the beach because there's usually good twisties and a nice view. :)

No plans as of now. If the weather is good enough I'll try to go jump out of some planes. If not (which is more likely) and I have my bike (which is unlikely) I'll be riding for sure.

Just dropped some cash on some very nice cold weather gear so thank me when it warms up.

Cripes, one of these day we'll get it together.

Well, that was a bunch of hooligan behavior if I've ever seen it. Shameless. I'd never have thought that nice young man Dizzle would fall so far, so fast. What cost to his soul, I wonder, just for a cheap thrill? I tell you, the Usual Suspects will ruin a good kid, and ruin him quick. Stay away from them, far away, if you value your integrity and reputation.

However, if you'd rather have a damn good time than sit at home on a Sunday with your integrity, just let U.S. know!

Thanks for an amazing ride today, all. And for your constant encouragement. Without you, I'd still be a nice young man. And probably sitting in traffic somewhere.  ;D

Bad news: my solo cowl fell off after we left the diner. 
I went all the way back and retraced the route home.. . nada    :'(

Wow, for a shorter than normal ride we managed to cover 344 miles today. That's including the tour of Newark and various parking facilities.

My oh my, do certainly grow up fast now-a-days don't they! Dizz, I was thoroughly impressed with your riding today, for real! I'm totally proud of you and not just for staying on my wheel in the twistys... for the way you rode on the way home, for the shenanigans close to home, all of it! Too bad we got split up in the tunnel and you didn't make it to the diner because I think that qualified as your first Grilled Cheese Run! Stupidity aside, you've grown into a smart, safe, and mature rider and I'm glad to have aboard... so when are you gonna take the reins and start pulling the pack?! I can use a break!

Pat, Beattie, Pete, Cru, as always, thanks for the ride! I had a big shit eating grin on my face pretty much the whole day, some of the roads today were simply amazing!! It's ashamed we had to play cat and mouse games with popo whilst on the Magic Loop, but at least I was already very satisfied with all the riding we had already done before we got there.
