Well lets discuss a ski/sled trip:

I can start looking for a decent place and when is the best time of year to go.

Skiing is too hard let's just rent some snowmobiles  [bacon]

Sledding is a blast!!

get us some info so we can make some decisions  [thumbsup]

snowmobiles sound really fun, but skiing is fun whether you are good at it or not.....also fun to watch everyone else try to ski!  [laugh]

I'm always down for some snowboarding

I've been wanting to go skiing again for years but everybody is too "old" or afraid of the cold.  I would vote for Taos since it's a great town, awesome skiing, and the closest quality place for road tripping. But actually, anywhere is fine as long as we go!

I am not talking about taos I'm talking about here!!  There are several ski resorts within a couple of hours of me!  there is even1 that is 45 minutes away!

No offense LYD, but it's twice as far to OH as it is to Taos for the LSD folks, and I bet the skiing in Hill Country is better than in Ohio.

I'm seriously interested in a ski trip this season (to someplace like NM or CO).  If there are others interested, discuss.

I will be up north again in December for a week or so but other than that I won't be goin up there  :'(

No not yet, we are finally getting the rain from that storm.  No snow yet, I keep you posted.  [thumbsup]

NE Ohio really has limited winter fun. There are two big snow hills with ski lifts (Alpine Valley in Geauga Co and Boston Mills in Summit Co). Upstate NY is only a few hours away.

Sled riding is pretty awesome.

It's actually cooled off a bit here, with lots of rain. I'm guessing it's fallout from 3 hurricanes in a row...

Ya think?  I actually got caught in that rain yesterday.  It was my first time riding in the rain, but I don't think I got out of first gear on 35W from 121 to my exit in Burleson.  I guess that was ok because if I laid it down in the rain at 5 - 10 mph it wouldn't do anything but hurt my feelings and piss me off.  Better than wrecking in the rain at higher speeds, I guess.  Glad to have better gear though!  Thanks to you guys for getting on my case for that! Anyway, I am driving the rest of the week.....I'm not all about riding in the rain!

Your PS certainly has the tires for rain riding :)

hopefully soon, on the ps - I rode on Sun and slid all over the seat again.  Guess I didn't realize what a big dif that comfort seat makes.

Ooops. Too bad, the PS fairing makes a big difference [thumbsup]

Rain riding sucks!!  The 1st munster ride cory and I got soaked on the way back home!

I've tripped a lot, but only ski'd once
