a steamroller...   that would be over too fast.  he deserves something drawn out...  but i don't know if there's anything that could equal what he has done.

Put him in prison for life...general population.

No death penalty.

Circulate a copy of the article to the prison population the day before he arrives.

If he lives more than a month...then run him over with a steamroller.

What a sick make the beast with two backs.

kill him quick...make it painfull to make me happy, then move on to the next one.

we..... are the problem

we.... play around with the trial, pretending to care about being fair.

why?  is there really anybody out there that looks at this guy and what he's done and says.... lets keep him alive?

by not ending his life.... we as a society say.... it's tollerated.

Death is too good for this guy.

Life, no parole, general population.

Spending the rest of his life as Tryone's, Bubba's,and any & all taker's receptacle.

That is still too good for him.

You raise a good point.   Vengeance is an manifestation of the ego.  Society would just be better to never have to deal with this person one more second.

I have a hard time calling him a person.  Reading this article makes me feel horrible.  I'm at a loss for words for how badly I feel.

just reading that article made me want to tie him to the back of a pick-up and drag him down a road made of cheese graders.

The father is a bigger man than me. I would of wanted to rip his face off right there in the court room...

no doubt those that molest and kill children are the lowest of the low.

but laws are laws and have to be applied impartially, even to pond scum like this.  Otherwise they are meaningless.  The dude gets his day in court like anyone else accused.

it's not like he's going to get out of it, he's acting as his own make the beast with two backsing attorney for chrissakes.  The dude is toast, and he'll be toasted by the state with due process.

I say convict him, and give the father a gun and let him do the execution right there in the courtroom.

I think that's a little melodramatic.  The nightmare is/was for that poor family.

Prolonging his death would make us as bad as him. One shot to the head and it's a done deal. No pleasure derived and we all carry on about our business.

BP, thats a perferct example of why the Soviet system was far superior to ours. He'd have been taken out back and a bullet put in his brainpan minutes after the trial. I don't even see the issue here, he's on TAPE for cryin out loud. My personal opinion, being a father, is the childs relatives should be allowed to administer whatever death they feel is appropriate at whatever pace they feel is correct. I'm figuring 3 or 4 weeks should do it. Then again, gen pop will do just fine.

Eligible for the death penalty...as if there was really a doubt.

I wonder how many .22 shorts he could take before he bled out.
If i was the father, I would probably be in jail, I'd have shot him already.
This happened just north of me and it's been over covered by the local media.
I have been avoiding the coverage now since it's just so sick.

This make the beast with two backser will challenege the rulling, then claim insanity, and drag this out for years.

I say they let the father have him for as long as he had his son. Do what he pleases to him, then end his life like his sons was tradgically ended.

There is a really good, dark movie named 'Lady Vengeance', it's Korean but it's well worth the subtitles...very similar to what you suggest for the victim's families.

As for this guy, I have to wonder what the hell happened in his life to make him turn out this way.  Not because I feel any sympathy for him, more because I would hope knowing could help prevent anything like this happening again...

A single bullet to the back of the head sounds about right for him.

possibly nothing.  sociopaths don't necessarily turn out that way... they can be born.

This is unfortunately true. Sociopaths are the scariest beings in my book, they are totally empty of emotion and moral obligation.

Not usually. They know what they are doing is wrong in terms of the law, they just don't care...

I do not care what mental classification we apply to this... I can't even think of a foul enough term.  >:(

It (notice I did not say "he") needs to be removed from this earth.  Permanently.

That father has far more restraint than I would.  That fvcker wouldn't have survived his first trip between the courtroom and the jail.  I'd have a .308 with his name on it.  He wouldn't even hear it coming, for him it would just suddenly go black as his brain explodes.

Maybe the police would find me.  Maybe they wouldn't.  Maybe they wouldn't care.  I know I sure as hell wouldn't.  Even if I went to prison, my story would be "I killed the man who brutally tortured and killed my family."  If anything is gonna earn street cred, that's it.

I'd have some family members lined up to take care of the remaining daughter.

End of story.

I have to say I hate this story  a lot. This guy can't even be sent to hell, it's to nice in hell for him. The one thing that I noticed in the past few years is  law enforcement really looking into tortured animals.... burnt, maimed, whatever    thats the start of these people  at a young age  [puke] I would like him to rot   not let him be released

This is one reason why I'm so glad to have a big, scary, and very protective dog.  He's nothing but a couch potato and lap dog wannabe, but I wouldn't want to try to enter this house at night.  He sleeps best with view of the front door.  I think that anyone trying to enter the house against my wishes would definitely give a second thought when they heard the "big boy" bark.

IIRC, he said that he chose that night partially because they had left a door unlocked.  The dogs split as soon as they saw him.
