Just wanted to say 'hi'.  I posted in the 'introduction' section on the main page, but thought I'd do the same here. Smiley

Picked up my 07 S2R1000, exactly one month and 3 days now.  Despite her plaguing stalling issue I love it!!  I've ridden for over 2 years, but you can't really count the Honda CBR600 a 'real' bike now right??  Ha Ha. Gotta say the curve of riding an Inline vs a Twin is WAY different that's for sure, but each definitely has their own unique *woohoo* factor!

Look forward to checking out the ongoings in here and looking for rides, before I beloved um "summer" is gone for good. :)

Ding! (light bulb over head goes on)   I think I saw your ride in person when I was at the Motocorsa shop tonight.  I went down there to pick up my axle slider that the mechanic forgot to re-install on my bike last week.

Termi slip-ons, etc., black with white go-faster stripe, etc.  Sweeet!   [thumbsup]

Alas no Termi's on mine, unless you were referring to yours Johnny.  Mine has full Ohlins suspension though, so she has her own (golden) niche out there among the S2R's. ;)  Well I have Brad scratching his head and "I get a heart palpation every time you pull up'.  HIS words not mine.  LAUGHING.

Ouch... so how do you REALLY feel?!  Lol.  Regardless, I still love/(d) my CBR600.  She was my first bike and she got me to where I am today.  And in her first month I at least got to ride her, and not see it at the dealership every weekend since purchase. :(  But hey Ducati parts are just money right?!

SR1K-femme, I have to be honest and tell you that your username "SR1k_femme" is good and all, but kind of challenging to type and say.  [bang]

So, I propose, with all due respect, that we provide you with a supplementary handle (sort of a short hand, if you will), to ease all the typing.  You can still keep your original username, too.  This will actually promote more posts and better communication on the board, I think.  [wine]

So, here it goes.  I think you should go by "La Femme Nikita", or maybe just "Nikita" for short, to continue the Gallic foundation you established with SR1k=Femme.  Besides, that was a damn cool ass-kicking movie (the original French one, not the US remake with Bridget Fonda, although that one wasn't too bad).

Don't think there's anybody else on the board named Nikita (did a search!).  If you like it, great.  If not, feel free to tell me to @#$%-off.

Goodness, I'd almost have to ask if you've got some military background.  Have to admit some of those 'Handles' you hear from friends in some military circles are quite um, interesting!?   [roll]

However I must agree with your reasoning.  Not only is my handle a bit, well, too much to handle... but you've done some darn good homework.  Alas I may not own the sniper rifle, but I do enjoy my Glock.  And yes, that was and IS a damn good movie!!  Again.. the original, not the latter. :(

Heh. It's all good. I grew up on Honda three wheelers at the dunes. It's the only type of Honda I care for--I still have an ATC 250R and heavily prefer three to anything else on the sand.

Parts are aplenty and there are few things that can't be fixed!

Quite important... and take it from me... when traveling... asking for the "bathroom" will, more often than not, result in directions to the bath house. And after large beers... a water closet is very important.   ;D
