Title: Re: '98 Ducati 748L Post by: ducatiz on May 22, 2008, 05:36:58 AM Silver, biposto, a few upgrades here and there. A little kitschy but will retain some collector value. I happen to love the silver ducatis (900ss FE for instance)

Is it ready for HC? Will it be there for the Sunday BBQ @ Alan's place? cdc Title: Re: '98 Ducati 748L Post by: ♣ McKraut ♣ on May 23, 2008, 12:01:28 PM Hey Rich, how's the SS doing? Is it ready for HC? Will it be there for the Sunday BBQ @ Alan's place? cdc took it over to Ryan's on tuesday to hang out and have a few complimentary beers [beer] bryant took it for a spin around the block and i think it met with his approval. i'll be hanging out at b8's garage saturday starting early to help out with a chock install on his truck, and do a little bike-prep on both our bikes. if all goes well i'll try to make it out to LYD's sunday. i have pooch-watching responsibilities, though, so i may end up taking him to the park, since he's been basically in his kenel all week, and will be there most all of saturday :-\ oh, and i have a set of PP's (thanks Scott!) and a new Pirelli rear...so i'm good on tires for now. and ordered oil, filter, spark plugs, Dynacoils, and a new sealed Yuasa battery for her. also have a bunch of parts from a part out of an SS (seat, clutch pack, and more!). also have my stop n go flat kit, and cycle pump! [thumbsup] there's some other stuff that i'll be tackling soon, too....so much to do. Title: Re: '98 Ducati 748L Post by: cdc on May 23, 2008, 12:04:12 PM Is she still running hot?

I was just surprised, I never knew one of these things existed. It would be cool to have as a collector but I'm with you, it'd be mantlepiece decor, and not a rider. |
