I think they make the 1100 in silver, but who knows with the switchable plastic panels.

Just read this post, but I have a white 696 and could have been in that area around 7am.

I haven't seen any new Monster 696s or 1100s in my area expect for one black one, but I have seen several older models.

Older models? Well, I'm old and my Ducati's have carbs so I guess that makes them old too.   Hey!

Seen a yellow monster (looked like a 695 or 900, not overly versed in the older styles to be able to pick one out of a lineup) out here in Surprise a few times. We go to the same gym. If you are a member here let me know!!

Speaking of gyms...yesterday at LA Fitness on Elliot and Priest, a real nice tri-color 848 parked outside.
Oh yeah, it was only a couple weeks ago I read about the Nicky Hayden edition, 150 copies. and guess what was parked in the public lot just south of Durants?

Hey hey. I figured you guys were heading home from TT Roadhouse. I've been wanting to get over there sometime but have been working Tuesday nights for a while. Yes I am the proud owner of Dave's old bike. My tags expired while I was waiting for a new regulator/rectifier to get shipped in. So rest easy Dave I didn't sell it without talking to you first  ;)

I thought it was awesome riding with you guys even for just a couple minutes.  [beer]

Multiple sightings in the past two days.

Yesterday..silver Monster heading East on Camelback (just in front of the Mtn) as I was heading west on my 1100.

Tonight..

Red 696/1100 w/ x-box exhaust heading North on Scottsdale Rd.  I was riding side by side on my 620 for awhile.  Kind of disappointed by the sound of the .  I thought those things were much louder?  I couldn't even hear it.  Maybe since my SIL megs are 110dB?

Yellow 1098 with wrapped Termis in Oldtown heading south.  Rode with him too for a few blocks.

Monster sitting at the Billet Bar around 10pm.  Maybe red??  Just caught a glimpse.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that bike!

I should have asked a few weeks back... On March 6 at around 11 a.m., I was at a fundraiser for my neighbor and riding buddy Tom at Jay’s Bird Barn, located on Willow Creek Road, Prescott AZ, in the Safeway shopping center. Parked in the lot was a brand-spanking new Monster 1100S in Red -- the first one I've seen in the flesh. I admired the bike parked, and was later coming back into the lot with some stuff when the rider -- a petite woman -- was just mounting up to leave. She was initially confused by the Toyota RAV4 full of lunatics waving and pointing at her & her bike but then spotted the big Ducati sticker in the side window and gave a thumbs-up. Anyone here?

Any idea who the red Sport Classic headed out of Prescott on White Spar yesterday afternoon might have been? I think we've crossed paths a couple of times before, so probably a Prescott local.

I was headed back into town after a quick run down & up the hill to test out my clutch bleed & the world's ugliest brake/clutch levers which I'd just put on the ST2 -- I broke a brake lever earlier this week and these gold ano bits were what I had in the parts bin...

Spotted older gen Monster around noon at the gas station on the corner of Mesa/Guadalupe today.  Senna color scheme

It looked like the owners were putting another bike (HD/chopper-type) on flatbed?

I saw that monster. I was going down Guadalupe coming from Country Club after ordering some parts from AZSBK around that time.

Although yours might not take 520, I think the newer Monsters are 525.

Cycle Gear also has a sale on a breaker/rivet tool.

I bought one of those tools a few years back - turned out to be a major pain in the arse. Hopefully the one you got works better than mine did.
