Might not be your thing but it makes me laugh out loud, opens me up to lots of new information and generally make me happy!

Can't believe this has not been suggested yet, WTF with Marc Maron - it took a few episodes for me to get hooked. I look forward to new WTFs more than the TV shows I follow. Sound of Young America, PRI Wired Features Selected Shorts, PRI I listen to Adam Carolla's and Jay Mohr's podcasts - check em out, but be prepared to hear a lot about Adam Carolla and Jay Mohr. "The Smartest Man in The World" - Greg Proops. Another podcast where a comedian vents his spleen (spleencasting?), but he's a sharp guy, apparently pretty well-read, and a gifted improvisational speaker. I stopped listening to the Mohr podcast because it was five minutes of content packed into an hour and a half. This podcast is the opposite of that. "Here's the Thing" - Alec (flippin') Baldwin.
