Title: New wire harness for my M796 Post by: opie4146 on April 26, 2012, 07:29:21 PM So,the other day I was out for a glorious ride on the love of my life (2011 Monster 796) And low and behold my front head light is out. Little more investigating and i find the tail light is out to. So i checkthe fuse and it is blown. Well i replace it and bang blown again!! [bang] So I have road side come and pic it up at my house and take it to the dealer. Well they called me and said i have a short in the wiring harness right at the steering head. Must be getting pinched? ??? The question to all is Anyone else have this problem? Good thing the warranty & my dealer are awesome. [thumbsup] The real problem is waiting for the parts to fix it. I Feel like I'm in bike jail :'(
Title: Re: New wire harness for my M796 Post by: Mhanis on April 27, 2012, 06:43:02 AM When my '09 M1100 was only a few weeks old I had the same headlight problem, but not the tail light. They had it fixed in pretty short order.
