I hate this time of year. Too cold to ride, no snow yet but I know its coming. Bike is packed up for the winter and tools put away. I have no plans for any mods or anything to this bike, but I have been scouring the internet for a second bike. I have my heart set on a late 90's Supersport or a remodeled one from '99 to '06. Not much out there right now but gives me something to do for the next few months. What's your plans for the winter? Title: Re: Winter Blues Post by: roggie on November 27, 2013, 05:50:55 PM winter blues indeed. i took collision insurance off the bike last week. it was a sad email to my agent. i will probably clean up the bike a little more next week to get it ready to sit in garage for next 3-4 months :'(
im going to try and drain the tank and air it out (anyone done that before by the way?) to see if it shrinks down to size a little, like the rumors suggest. I also have a few painted parts that need to be stripped back to the original black plastic. nothing major though... |
