Title: please help me raise some coin for Cystic Fibrosis!
Post by: Nibor on August 18, 2016, 06:26:13 AM
Hi guys!

I'm trying to raise some funds for Cystic Fibrosis Victoria, who support my 6yo son and many others with this condition.

long story short, all I'm asking for is a few minutes of your time, and you can help raise $75 EACH, as well as make $75 for yourself (which you are more than welcome to donate too  ;) )

sound too good to be true? well its not. its simple:

ING Direct are running a promo to attract new customers. its a referral program, so I refer a friend, and we both get $75 if you sign up.

I will be donating every cent of each $75 I earn through promos, hence I need YOU to sign up!

there is no fees. no charges. no lock-in contracts. no bullshit.
the only conditions are:
-you are not an existing "everyday" customer. (if you have a savings maximiser already, you are still eligible for this!)
-you MUST enter the referral code when creating you new account (Friend code: LEL457)
-you transfer $1k into your account to qualify for the bonus (this $1k is not locked in or anything, transfer it straight back out if you wish!)
-have to be one of the first 10,000 people to do this.

from ING Direct:
Quote
To get $75 each, your friend needs to:

Open a new Orange Everyday bank account at ingdirect.com.au/everyday

Enter your unique promotional code below during the application. Remember, without the code, you both will not get the $75 bonus

Deposits their pay of $1,000 or more within a calendar month into their new Orange Everyday account by 31 October 2016

Friend code: LEL457

Your friend can find out more at ingdirect.com.au/refer

so basically:
1) sign up with friend code
2) transfer $1k in from pay, another account, anything. transfer this back out as soon or as later as you wish.
3) next month, get $75 bonus
4) you can keep or close the account, your choice! I personally use ING to bank with, I like them as they charge no fees, and ATM withdrawals are free. but your preferences may vary. there is no fee to close the account or anything, as mentioned before.
5)I also get $75 bonus for referring you, (as long as you meet the criteria) and I will be donating ALL $75 to CFV.

I DO NOT MAKE ANYTHING FROM THIS.
my son has Cystic Fibrosis, so my only objective is to assist them in searching for a cure, and helping out families affected in the meantime.

**mods apologies in advance if this is not where it should be, It's only open to aussies so thought it best here even though no moto content. feel free to spend your $75 bonus on bling, so this becomes moto-relevant :) "

Nibor I'm not opening an ING account.

But I would like to participate.

So I put my $75 here  http://www.cysticfibrosis.org.au/vic/donation-cfv (http://www.cysticfibrosis.org.au/vic/donation-cfv)

wow. the plan was via this method so the cost was nil for people, if fact there is a personal incentive, but you've both just stopped me in my tracks.

thank you so much guys, it means the world :)

DP, no worries. we all have our own battles, and help out where we can. knowing I have brothers around the world who care and understand, helps in its own right. thankyou  [beer]

Also had a chat to them about motorcycle related fund raising activities. I'll let you know when they send some info. [thumbsup]
