Title: 2019+/- Monster 821/1200 parts? Post by: WhiskeyFox on May 30, 2019, 08:56:34 PM A 2019 821 is on the list as a potential new bike soon, and in looking online for parts it seems the 1200 has a lot more available for it than it's smaller brother.
At first sight it looks like the two bikes are nearly identical when it comes to frame, pegs, etc, and my suspicion was piqued when a parts website listed a particular exhaust for the 1200 and not the 821, while the manufacturer itself shows that the same system/part number will fit both bikes. Got me wondering how many other pieces would be interchangable. Said parts website lists things like saddlebag supports for the 1200 and not the 821, but will those supports fit the 821? What about tank grips? Levers? Seats? Tail-lights? Fender kits? Any insight? It also seems like I get a lot of stuff, like frame sliders, that show fitment from 2015-2017, but once again the bikes seem almost identical. As far as I knew the major updates for the newest versions were only to the display and the exhaust. Can anyone confirm? Title: Re: 2019+/- Monster 821/1200 parts?
