MM opted to sit out Friday’s practice sessions to give his recently operated on arm an extra day of recuperation, though the Spaniard plans to return to action on Saturday where he will need to crack the top ten straight away to make Q2 directly.

The battle of attrition is over.

Congrats to Fabio!

I so wanted you the old man to keep that 2nd.

Pecco looked excellent until his engine blew.

It was a relatively boring race, but considering the heat, I have no idea how they are still on 2 wheels.

That was a wild one. Fabio did a Jorge impression. VR and my boy had a big battle going on. Too bad Mav couldn’t get by him early on to see if he’d have gotten close to Fabio. Taka gave it all he had, oh and Rins in 10th. Heartbreaker for Bagnaia.

Fabio does a Lorenzo and gets small rather fast.

Podium group looked just as fried as last week.

Cal and Alex bag points.

Marc has spotted the field 50 points.

Somehow there was a drastic shortage of black flags.

How does a rookie like Bagnaia (sp) on last years Ducati race with the best, when Ducati's top riders don't show up. I realize this is the most demanding race in the heat.  MM would have been fighting at the front.  I know these guys are aliens, but some have big balls, bigger than others.
That could have been a great race.

This is Pecco’s second year. Dovi had a horrible qualifying so he had to fight to move up. Petrucci has not been the same since he won Mugelo. Jack was up there with Pecco until he crashed

Dovi was on the podium the week before. I wish Rins had not crashed, Mir was competitive.  KTM and Suzuki should win some races.  I don't have a favorite team or racer.  I only would like to see some good racing.  This is the best racing on the planet bar none.

Watch Moto3 if you want to see some good racing.
