Title: Hello from Northern Colorado
Post by: MP885 on April 10, 2022, 02:55:31 PM
I rescued a 695 a few weeks ago. The previous owner rode it into the ground but the price was right. I got it running a couple days ago but it still needs some love.

I’ve been riding most of my life, dirt bikes, ATV’s, sport bikes and even a Harley road king.

Since 1999 or so
FZ 750
CBR 600 F2 smoking joes
Honda 440 EX (still have)
CBR 929rr Erion racing
Duc 749 dark
Duc 999
CBR 1000rr
Road King
Duc M695

All gone but the 695. I convinced myself that I wouldn’t be able to ride like an ass on a 695 and it should be a comfortable bike to commute on and maybe short trips. The fuel economy won’t be bad either however, I’m starting to question my decision and thinking about an engine swap.

Welcome aboard  [thumbsup]

Looking forward to following the progress of the engine swap..... would an M1100 motor bolt straight in?  [evil]
