Photographer talking about “Dakar” wants to charge him $4k euros for a license to film in the bivouac area, $7k for competitors to film during stages. They say all race footage belongs to them. He starts talking about it around 2:17.

Dear God, a 32oz is more than a bottle of liquor!  Luckily for Rootchick they don't serve 32 ouncers.

Maybe I knew this and forgot, maybe not, but now I do and will remember.  A thus, next DIMBY I'll come LIIT prepared.

Are you drinking too right now? Cuz I'm not following completely laughingdp

4 8 oz drinks work just as well.

As for root chick I can only think of one time where she had to act as my handler. And it was definitely at a dimby Cheesy

So I made a second one for further testing.

Still has the strong flavor this time even though I switched out the tequila for patron.

Now I'm wondering if it's the Bacardi Superior white rum.

I must solve this mystery.

I love long Islands. Like love them. If I could order a 32oz one while at a restaurant, I would.

Today I tried to make my own. The recipe:

½ fluid ounce vodka
½ fluid ounce rum
½ fluid ounce gin
½ fluid ounce tequila
½ fluid ounce triple sec (orange-flavored liqueur)
1 fluid ounce sweet and sour mix
1 fluid ounce cola, or to taste
1 lemon slice (skipped that one)

This is not good.

The tequila I had on hand is Jose cuervo and holy cow is the flavor overpowering.  I have found and alternate recipe to try next time.

Have any of you figured out the key to this wonderful drink?
