I finally made up my mind (Termi, Arrow, or Mivv) and decided to go with the Termi kit for my M695.  I actually liked the sound of the Mivv cans the best, but after factoring in tuning costs to get them to play nice with everything else, it looked like they would be quite a bit more expensive than the Termi kit.

Has anyone here installed these (exhaust, ecu, air box) on a M695?  I've heard that I will need to take it into the dealer to put the final touch on the ecu (get a proper fuel map?), but I'd like to do as much as possible on my own first.  Any walk through advice would be most appreciated.     Grin

You and me both.  I am looking at the Termi high mount kit for my 695.  I was told last weekend that if I so much as touch the ECU, it will void my warranty.  I was an aircraft mechanic in a prior life, so the thought of paying $$$ for the shop to slap some pipes on drives me nuts. bang head

Any truth to this?

No. The warranty can't be voided because you touched the ECU or any other part. If an action you took caused the failure then the warranty claim won't be honored, but if you install the exhaust and the licence plate bracket has an issue - the warranty will still be good.

If you guys want the instructions via email for this exhaust so you can see what you're getting into shoot me an email to anthony@commoto.com. I'll be back in the shop Friday and will email them out then.
