I'm currently working on a "fiber to the home" project, and am curious if anyone has it at home.

Would love to know what kind of speeds you are pulling.

The telco I we are working with said they will be expecting a minimum 6 meg download... consistently.
I solve my problems like an adult, at the strip club drinking on a work night.

2 years with FIOS through Verizon. Not a single service interruption. 15 down/2 up consistent. For $135/month I could have 50/20. :o

ATT just put fiber through my neighborhood. I'm running 6MB/s. It's very nice.  ;D Bundle w/ basic their family tv plan is about $75

The end is in sight! Gotta buckle down and get to work!

Huxley Communications (local telco Coop in central Iowa) had it  in the town we lived in and I was getting 6 to 8 constantly with zero service interuptions and about $75 a month bundled with phone and basic digital cable. The best part...4 computers downloading all at the same time with no drop in speed.

I would be happy if I could just get High Speed something to my house. All I have out there is Dial up. Gotta come into the office to get on the net.

i have at&t u-verse b/c there are fiber optics running throughout my neighborhood.  I get 6mb/sec, but can pay for speeds up to 15 MB?

No fiber here, getting almost 10mb down and 2 up over copper with DSL. Never have a service interruption either.

Of course, the phone's all running on fiber all through my neighborhood, so I'm sure there's just a DSLAM in the ATT box in my front yard.
