How would you spend 1 trillion dollars that are spent on Iraq war?

Hey, there's a race track for only 340,000,000$...

Buy a set of islands in the Pacific, set up my own despotic dictatorship (which would be moot because the islands would be inhabited, but who wouldn't want to buy their own country and get the titles?) Benevolent Lifetime Dictator and Grand General of the Republic of Cormierland has a nice ring to it, would look good on my (solid gold) business cards.

You could just buy ducati and still have plenty left over

I would buy a nice politics sub board in which I could properly place political posts.

ZING! Well said avenger.
Still not the most costly war in U.S. history.
WW2: In today's money, the cost to the U.S. would be over five trillion dollars (at 288 billion 1945 dollars)

I would build High speed rail from San Diego to Vancouver B.C. and spend the rest on city subways, a House, a couple of new bikes & track days for 2009. I might even go out for some beers.

Drunken Monkey

I'd spend the bulk of it on charitable works and just keep a meager annual .01% management fee.

I'd be hard, but my 100 Million annual salary would just have to do...

I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...
