Gauges not running through sequence. Maybe my relays?

All right here is what is going on with my 06 s2r 800
When I put the key in and go to turn the key. The fuel pump does its thing, but nothing else is. The gauges are not lighting up or running through it's sequence.
I still have electricty going through the bike. Horn works along with brights.
I tried checking wires. Everything seems like it is in place and plugged in.
Does anyone have the scematics for it?
I have check and replaced all fuses. this has done nothing. Do you think it may be my relays?

Does the starter motor crank? If so, does the bike start? Any warning lights?

Have you checked the S2R 800 workshop manual? It has a good section on the electrical system.
Try a google (or whatever) search to find one for free on the internet. If you can't find one, I have a PDF I could transmit but its biggish 31MB.

No the starter is not working. No warning lights are coming on. Like I said nothing is really happening on the gauges. My horn still works and I can flash my brights. When I do the brights the light comes on the insuments.

I'm not familiar with the immobilizer bikes, but I think that is where your problem may lie, not sure since you are not getting a blinking light. It may also be your instrument cluster crapped out. Try you other key. 06 bike? Still under warranty?

Just had the exact issue on my S2R 800, took the battery to be tested and it needed to be replaced.
Replaced the battery and it's as good as new

I would say that there is an issue with the key sensor and or the key. I was lucky and it was the fuse.
Good Luck

replace the battery (or start it off a charger) and see if that's it....'modern' batteries die with little to no warning

Hi.
I remember reading in a post about the key sensor/antenna slipping down.
Worth a search, however it was over on the Dark Side...may the Force be with you!
