yup, finally did it.
decided to take the easy way and once i slid the sleeve down, i cut trough the whole thing where the welds were.  after that i decided where to cut, cut with a table saw (took a minute each, perfect cut Smiley  then i slid the sleeve some more and cut the inside a little as well to accommodate the tip, then put a rivet on the front and one in the back, and thats all folks.
also, i painted the headlight bracket after finally being able to get the bolts off
let me know what you guys think...
still in the process of getting a good oven to do all the powdercoating so all kinda bits and pieces will get powdercoated.

thx guys,
i also managed to squeeze in a run with no exhaust...it was stupid loud, i dont understand how those harley guys can do it all day long..
