"Maybe the "Royal Majesty" from the Kingdom of Hawaii can kick these guys out".

What?   Do people actually believe there will be an influential Hawaiian bloodline government here at any time?  I always figured they were just acting up to act up.

The part that I find the most amusing is that a lot of the people here want the military out, saying "Maybe the "Royal Majesty" from the Kingdom of Hawaii can throw these guys out on there a$$", but they really do not seem to grasp the fact that if we go, the state will shrivel up and die economically.  Sure, tourism brings a lot of money into the coffers, but it is no where near as persistent as what us army folk pump into the financial veins of this island.

Also, I see irony in the fact that people cite laziness on the part of many workers as being the ultimate downfall of the shipyard, which is bad, but you see just as many people running around with the "slow down, this aint the mainland" stickers on their cars.  Kind of funny that you try to maintain your slow and relaxed approach to things but fail to realize that the people you support simply won't tolerate that work ethic whilst pushing for more efficiency.
