at work.... we make "ig" units (insulated glass units)



we make them as replacements when either people break them or the unit has a seal failure.

when one has a seal failure, moisture builds up between the panes of glass when conditions are right, much like water on the outside of a beer bottle, only it happens inside the window. Over time, the minerals in the water will etch the glass, obscuring your view.

I thought it would be fun to premake one to fail.

step one..... make a relief mask of Jesus or Charles Manson, put it on the the glass to be used, spray  Rain-x  onto the exposed areas of the glass.... allow it to dry.

step two..... make the ig unit with the rain-x side to the inside of the unit, being careful not to seal it properly.

step three.... place in unsuspecting customers window.

step four.... wait

step five.... hilarity ensuses when the media shows up
