Boy are they gummy soft!! Really nice feel to them compared to the OEM grips and the Driven gel grips I had on. They are drying right now so I can't really get a firm grip on them just yet.
The only problem is that they don't cover the large end of the throttle tube. The Driven grips had the same problem. However the 699's cover them much better but it's still exposed. My solution is to find spray paint designed for plastics and paint the end of the tubes black. I'm tired of trying to hunt down the right grips.

How are these holding up now that you've had them on for a few months? Smiley

I am going to get either the pro grip or drivens, just not sure yet. The pro's (as you said) fit over the trhrottle tube alot better.

Sorry it took me so long to reply.

There's no comparison IMO. Pro Grip > Driven. The Drivens are hard compared to the Pro Grips. The Pros are much more softer IMO.

Put mine on today. To get past the throttle tube, I used my hobby knife/stainly knife/razor and cut away some of the plastic so it sits more flush. Can still see a bit of the throttle tube but it's not as noticable.

One issue I had with them was the right hand side grip is a really loose fit. I had to use some wire to hold the grip in place. Unless there are a left and right grip and i've put them on the wrong side  Roll Eyes

I didn't have any fitment issues. What I ended up doing a few months ago was actually paint the throttle tube black. It looks much better now.

I've had those mounted on my daily commuter 695 for almost a year now, and have had no problems at all with them. They are so much nicer that the factory grips!!
