i like the type 3 selector, i used to restore those..  :'(

i just gave away a type 3 EFI distributor -- with the two sets of points built in, one for the plugs and one for the injectors..

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

sorry, probably painful ones.. that EFI system was bleeding edge technology.  the first version in '67 wasn't even radio shielded -- a strong AM station would knock it out and you had to push it a few blocks...

I had a buddy with an MSEE who built a tuneable brain for my squareback -- it was two 2716 EEPROMs and a few dials.  you could trim the mixture and set idle, that's all.  we talked about marketing it, but Gene Berg's setup stopped that

L-Jetronic, we barely knew ya!

i had a '63 JDM Notch that i partially restored.  i had finished the entire pan, suspension, engine and trans and was working on the body and had to sell it when i moved.

the notch was the coolest looking of the T3's except for maybe the Razor or the Rometsch.  Much better cooling design, nicer engine layout.
